This role will focused in and around traffic, roofing, flooring, and wall coating solutions for buildings, including stadiums, hospitals, airports, educational facilities, manufacturing spaces and more.

 

The Product Marketing Manager will work as part of the marketing team to support delivering the marketing plan and demand strategy for the product line – in North America and where relevant, globally. Product Marketing Manager will work closely with the sales teams, product management, marketing communications and specialist peers within Technical Services and R&D. The Product Marketing Manager will be recognized as the expert on products and customer needs in the segment and will also help to lead the introduction and adoption of new products and services into the product line.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Contribute ideas to the strategy formulation process to have a positive impact on the growth of this product line
  • Be a true partner to sales, working together to develop the go-to-market strategy for products and services within the segment; providing constant communication and participating in the development of sales tools and training as needed
  • Develop demand generation product campaigns aligned with sales activities for targeted, market specific products, applications and services; ensuring that these are clearly communicated to sales
  • Understand and monitor what is happening within the market, anticipating trends and helping predict likely impact on the business
  • Be the recognized go-to expert within the business on this segment’s products, customer needs and market trends
  • Track competitors product development, pricing strategies, emergent legislation or environmental issues which affect this segment
  • Work with Product Management team to understand new product initiatives and updates that relate to specific targeted campaigns within the segment, execute product launch activities
  • Work alongside the rest of the marketing team to assist in delivering a full marketing plan for this product line

 

Professional skills / Experience:

  • Minimum 7 years of marketing experience (product marketing, marketing communications, product management) with concrete coatings and/or protective coatings in general
  • Prior experience working within or marketing to the infrastructure, construction, and facilities management industry, particularly targeting contractors and having an understanding of the lifecycle of building projects
  • Enjoys operating in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Understands how to work in a global, matrix type organizational structure
  • Ability to work with large data sets and interpret findings
  • Clear and engaging presentation skills

 

Education/Qualifications

University graduate (BA/BS, Masters a plus) ideally with a marketing or technical related degree
