Job Description:

Responsible for the leadership, implementation and management of business processes and functionality directing and supporting the company’s production planning, scheduling, materials management and customer service activities. Voice of the Customer responsible to drive customer order fill and customer satisfaction performance.

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Manage scheduling team and all aspects of daily production scheduling across all facilities

• Monitor and manage demand forecasts and finished good supply inventories across all facilities

• Manage customer service team to ensure a best in class customer experience

• Develop service procedures and standards and ensure processes are in place and followed

• Manage customer/consumer complaint processes ensuring appropriate internal and external communication as well as root cause analysis is being performed to bring organizational visibility to our performance.

• Establish metrics and information systems that provide key stakeholders with timely and accurate reports and information.

• Set benchmarks and standards for departmental performance.

• Demonstrate a Continuous Improvement mindset while directing best practices in supply chain and customer order fulfillment

• Participate in near and long-term sales forecasting and planning

• Prepare and manage the yearly budget for all planning, scheduling and customer service areas

• Create an open and inclusive environment that promotes teamwork, development of team members and ensures an engaged team.

• Take a proactive role in assuring safe, quality products are produced by immediately addressing any safety or quality concerns.

Job Requirements:

 

Education and Experience

• Minimum 5-7 years’ experience in supply chain or manufacturing related fields

• Undergraduate Degree is required or equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word

• Proficiency in supply chain, ERP, driver compliance and transportation management systems

• Ability to interact with individuals at all professional levels

• Superior organizational skills

• Ability to effectively manage various levels of employees

• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, including but not limited to performance management (employee evaluations, discipline, corrective action, coaching) and interviewing are required

• Strong writing and verbal skills

 

Environment and Physical Demands

• Cold and wet, must enter freezers and coolers with temperatures below 32 degrees

• Lifting climbing, bending, standing, stooping as needed to perform various shipping tasks.
