Terminal Manager - Service Center

Job Duties 

  • Prepares staffing plans across a multi-shift operation based on volume projections within a 2-4 week window
  • Leverage system insights to project daily inbound volume and the relative labor pool required to remain in compliance with the agreed upon service levels 
  • Evaluates KPI scorecards to confirm service level compliance and to rectify any execution issues
  • Interacts with the transportation carriers to plan store delivery workload, adjust driver coverage, manage the timely departure of store delivery trailers and collaborate with store leadership teams to regulate product flow
  • Coordinates with labor staffing team to onboard associates & provide an orientation schedule for new hire training & development
  • Reconciles the physical inventory on a daily basis to ensure that the goods are processed in a FIFO basis 
  • Schedules audits with the onsite loss prevention team to evaluate operation is in the compliance with all standards & best practices
  • Formulates continuous process improvement plans & trains floor associates on the proper methods of performing tasks in accordance with the customers’ expectations
  • Produce & provide customer with visibility reports & statistical data
  • Manage customer service requests in a timely & effective manner
  • Develop & monitor procedures for warehouse safety & security
  • Inspect warehouse equipment and initiate work orders for repairs and maintenance as required




  • 5-7 years overseeing warehousing operations in a 3PL – retail operations & store delivering programs preferred
  • 3-5 years in an account leadership capacity within a 3PL or retail environment
  • Competent user of WMS and YMS system applications
  • Experience overseeing operations within a union work atmosphere
  • Proficient in use of the Microsoft Office: Excel, Word & PowerPoint
