Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced General Manager to lead a multi-client facility in Fresno, CA. This person will be charged with staffing and operating an efficient and safe warehouse facility while meeting all customer KPIs for performance. He/she will also ensure that the operation is compliant with all company and government regulations.

 

Must have a customer-focused attitude and a continual focus on process improvement.

This position offers a competitive base salary plus company car and bonuses.


Job Requirements:
• Provide leadership and vision to the operation by daily oversight of all facets of the operation (warehouse, customer service, billing, accounts receivable, maintenance, sanitation, safety, etc.) 
• Develop quarterly, annual and long range plans for the operation 
• Evaluate and report on progress of function and plans for the operation 
• Accomplishes objectives by establishing plans, budgets, and results measurements; allocating resources and reviewing progress 
• Responsible for building and achieving P&L goals for facility; responsible for reporting progress of same 
• Develop supervisory personnel to act in accordance with corporate goals. Also, perform 'Swing Management', which requires you to be available to cover gaps in Management scheduling (e.g. Customer Service Director & Warehouse Operations manager).

• Ensure the operation exceeds customers’ expectations for service and responsiveness 
• Develop, prioritize and direct programs to ensure the efficient and cost effective operation and utilization of the warehouse
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, the American Chemistry Council’s Responsible Care Management System (RCMS) and internal Business Excellence Standard (BESt) 
• Collaborate with parties regarding Safety Data Sheet (SDS) assessment and requirements 
• Identify root cause on non-conformances and implement corrective actions 
• Participate in the preparation of budgets, revenue projections, and account analysis
• Develop and maintain a productive work team through training and professional development 
• Create measurement systems to evaluate productivity, quality and variance from standards
