Director of Shared Services 
This key cross-functional leadership position is responsible for managing all aspects of several departments within the company, including legal, IT and Human Resources functions. You will be tasked with ensuring your teams are properly trained and providing leadership to enhance performance, quality and productivity. 

The ideal candidate will be required to manage a direct team, vendor relationships, have in-depth inter-disciplinary knowledge, leveraging business acumen and subject matter expertise as needed. As part of the vendor management this individual will work closely together with our provider(s) to deliver agreed-upon results, drive cost, quality and process improvement by establishing well-defined processes thereby ensuring effective working relationships. 
Primary Duties 
• Works cross-functionally toward mutual goals and objectives to build awareness and support of overall strategic benefits 
• Facilitating conversations with internal cross functional teams to ensure barriers are removed and decisions are being made to drive incremental success 
• Demonstrating a commitment to service, organization values and professionalism through appropriate conduct and demeanor at all times. 
• Having an exceptional understanding and a demonstrated track record of managing best in class operations 
• Manages the allocation of resources for the project management and start ups 
• Ensures that financial accounting/budgeting/invoicing are accurate and timely 
• Oversees management team to ensure all employees are performing duties as required to enable projects to stay on-time and at/under budget 
• Serves as an escalation and rectification point for management and customers issues 
• Manages the necessary cross training programs to enable all employees to be functionally cross trained 
• Serves as primary liaison between Finance, IT, Human Resources and other internal, functional teams 
• Coordinates with Sales and management team on pre-sale activities, RFP’s, implementation and start-ups 
• Other duties as required and assigned 
• Preparing annual budget and managing staff and department within approved budgetary guidelines. 


Job Requirements:
• 5+ years’ experience managing multiple departments 
• MBA or equivalent work experience 
• Proficiency leading and managing teams 
• Ability to effectively work and influence at all levels of the organization 
• Communicate updates, processes, requirements and expectations to vendor as needed and track, measure and report on vendor performance; 
• Identify process improvement opportunities, assist in the management of vendor-related projects and facilitate and coordinate change management efforts;
