Project Coordinator

Our client is looking for a Project Coordinator to administer and organize comprehensive action plans while managing resources, stakeholders, time frames and budgetary constraints. This is a manager-in-training position that reports directly to the Business Services Manager and has vast opportunity for growth and professional development. The Project Coordinator will perform various coordinating tasks, like scheduling and risk management, along with administrative duties, like maintaining documentation and creating financial models. This role requires excellent time management and communication skills as well as being able to maintain a high level of professionalism when collaborating with clients and internal management teams. Ultimately it is the Project Coordinator’s duty to ensure all projects are completed on time, within budget and meet the highest quality standards.

 

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for developing and overseeing the continuous improvement of all third-party systems; this includes attending conferences and demonstrations on new technologies
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Liaison with clients to identify and define requirements, scope and objectives; makes sure that clients’ needs are represented and met as projects evolve
  • Responsible for continuous improvements, training and initiatives
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the execution of projects
  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
  • Perform risk management assessments to mitigate potential project pitfalls or setbacks
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation and continuously update versions annually
  • Meet budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis
  • Attend training(s) as required to maintain proficiency in addition to developing new skills
  • Develop spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps to manage project scope, schedule and costs

 

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of experience, ideally 3PL, warehousing, distribution or supply chain related
  • Experience with project management, from conception to delivery
  • Ability to prepare and interpret charts, schedules and step-by-step action plans
  • Strong client-facing and teamwork skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
  • Proficiency with Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Bilingual preferred
