Transportation Administration Manager 

My client is looking to hire a full-time Administration Manager in the Los Angeles, CA office. This is a managerial position that will be responsible for supervising employee workflow, tasks, deadlines and other office responsibilities. 

• Monitor and manage the amount of work for each group to make sure the following items are current: 
o Accounts Payable – 3rd party carrier payable for Pier, Linehaul and Local P&D 
o Driver Payroll - Pier, linehaul, and P&D - House and O/Ops. 
o Transportation Billing including: 
§ Accessorial Billing - Pier, P&D and linehaul. 
§ Linehaul and Local P&D billing. 
o Warehouse Billing - 3PL/Distribution Service – ensuring all 3PL accounts are accurately billed in a timely manner. 
o Ensuring all billing documents are accurately prepared for invoicing. 
• Report to the Director on any issue of daily tasks, personnel, and anything related to department. 
• Develop process flow and SOP’s to improve work efficiency. 
• Manage employees’ working hours/shift. 
• Resolve issues with billing and accounts payable invoices from carriers. 
• Assist in coding and rating. 
• Audit employees’ work on billing, payroll, and payable invoices. 

Desired Skills/Education 
Bachelor’s Degree in business, accounting, or related fields 
3 – 5 years of experience in managerial position 
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail 
Excellent communication skills 
Ability to priorities and work independently 
Demonstrates strong leadership skills 
Excellent overall computer and math skills 
Proficient in Microsoft Office
