About the Position 
The Project Manager is responsible for leading various projects across the customer network in support of business growth and key initiatives to drive operation excellence, and focusing on safety and quality. The incumbent will work closely with business leaders to effectively support and guide stakeholders throughout the project, ensuring timelines and business objective are met. Driving team work and building relationships across multiple business functions is key to the success of the incumbent. A key expectation of the role will be to utilize cross functional leadership skills, build technical knowledge and communication skills to be an effective and collaborative liaison between the customer and various departments within the company. 

• Provide project leadership in the execution of projects to both internal and external customers to drive business growth and improve business processes. 
• Actively participate in operational initiatives and provide hands-on support, including but not limited to, administrative activities (i.e. meeting coordination, communication materials, etc.) and on-site distribution support. 
• Collaborates with stakeholders to identify, scope, assess risk, prioritize, and manage opportunities to deployment; including creation of necessary materials and effectively presenting to leadership. 
• Maintain project-related documentation; including creation of project timelines and relevant documentation. 
• Create and develop reports and analyses to support business initiatives and ensure project is effective. 
• Serve as a primary point of contact to our customer while providing overall direction and leadership based on the business opportunity or needs as it relates to projects and or initiatives. 

Job Requirements:
• Bachelor degree in related field required or equivalent years of experience required. Equivalent years of experience is defined as one year of professional experience for each year of college requested 
• Minimum of 3 years related experience in a distribution center or logistics environment. 
• Prior experience managing projects in a fast-paced environment preferred. 
• Experience with Lean and Six Sigma preferred. 
• Strong computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft programs 
• Ability to thrive in a fast paced and changing environment, be self-driven and have a strong work ethic.
• Strong interpersonal and creative problem-solving skills. 
• Must have very strong customer service skills and the desire to interact with customers in a courteous and professional manner. 
• Ability to act as a change agent and drive continual improvement.

Travel Requirements 
• This position is expected to travel up to 75%. 
• A passport is not required, but recommended.
