Our client is looking for an experienced Mechanical/HVAC Project Manager to plan and supervise a wide range of construction projects from start to finish. You will organize and oversee construction procedures and ensure they are completed in a timely and efficient manner.


An excellent Mechanical/HVAC Project Manager must be well-versed in all construction methodologies and procedures and able to coordinate a team of professionals of different disciplines to achieve the best results. The ideal candidate will have an analytical mind and great organizational skills.


The goal will be to ensure all projects are delivered on time according to requirements and without exceeding budget.



  • Evaluate specifications to plan procedures, starting and completion times, and staffing requirements for each phase of construction.
  • Mechanical/HVAC experience
  • Obtain subcontractors, tools, equipment, and materials to be delivered at specified times to conform to work schedules.
  • Inspect work in progress to ensure that it conforms to specifications and adhers to construction schedules.
  • Prepare or review reports on progress, materials used and costs, and adjust work schedules as indicated by reports.
  • Prepare job cost reports, monitor job cost weekly and analyze specific cost items with field superintendent.
  • Prepare project billings and ensure timely payments, following up on outstanding accounts and pushing for payment.
  • Prepare and assemble shop drawings and submittals.
  • Prepare required reports with explanation of any deviations when actual job cost are not in line with estimated job cost reports.
  • Initiate and prepare all correspondence which might be required between other trades, suppliers, subcontractors, engineers, architects and owners.
  • Document job delays, problems, and conflicts.
  • Assist in preparing final project paperwork including maintenance and operating manuals, warranty letters, lien waivers, etc.
