The Requirements

 

Education:  Bachelor’s Degree required…..Master’s Degree a plus.  

 

Experience:    

 

5+ years’ biotech / pharmaceutical experience.

2+ years’ sales experience with one or more of the following: biologics, injectable, buy & bill, rare disease, reimbursement, specialty pharmacy.

 

Proven record of accomplishment with national recognition.               

  • Reimbursement, Specialty Pharmacy, “buy & bill” experience highly preferred.
  • Product launch experience highly preferred.

The Responsibilities:

 

The Biotech Sales Specialist will be responsible for attaining all sales objectives for targeted disease states. Represent clinical and reimbursement information on product and services to Hospital pharmacies and Healthcare professionals. 

  • Developing Advocates for product from key thought leaders in the community.
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with targeted medical centers, pharmacies, physicians, medical staff and others.
  • Developing and implementing plans to meet and exceed goals at the District, Regional and National levels.
  • Driving new business revenues and support brand strategy.
  • Planning and managing budget to maximize business opportunities.
  • Demonstrating responsibility for formulary process in covered hospital accounts.
  • Planning and conducting effective meetings with customers and peers.
  • Developing and implementing special programs, i.e. speaker programs, symposia.
  • Preparing and maintaining all administrative tasks in a timely manner.
  • Providing leadership to other Sales Specialists, if desired, by taking on additional responsibilities such as task force involvement, mentoring and training.

 

Compensation:

 

The company offers a salary of $110,000 to $140,000, depending on experience, and $40,000 target bonus uncapped.
